To better provide for your lawn care needs, we offer a wide range of lawn care services. Use the links above, or simply scroll down, to see all of our offerings. If you have a lawn care need that you don't see here, or if you have any questions, just let us know.
We have combined our most requested services into convenient service plans. By selecting a service plan and pre-paying, you will receive a discount rate on each application included in the service plan. For example: If you select the Total Service Plan and pre-pay for the year, you will receive an 8% discount on both the Grub Control and Late Fall Winterizing applications, as well as the 4 fertilizer/pesticide applications.
Standard Service PlanIf a Service Plan is not right for you, you can also select individual applications. Each application is designed to provide your lawn with the nutrients it requires as well as treatment for the prevalent pests for the specific time of year.
Application #1 (Mid-April - May)This optional "5th application" is made using a dry granular fertilizer and is applied once leaf growth of the grass plant has stopped. The application provides a slow continuous feeding of the plant during the time most of the root growth takes place, resulting in a lawn that is better prepared to withstand the stresses of the next growing season. As an added benefit, it keeps the grass greener into early winter and provides for faster green-up the following spring.
Grub Control (Mid June - Early July)Because grubs live and do their damage below the soil surface by damaging the roots and crowns of the grass plant, a special insecticide application is required to achieve control. This application is usually applied only when grub populations reach a point where unacceptable damage will result or when past years experience has shown that a problem infestation is present in the lawn.
In addition to our fertilizer and pesticide applications, we also offer the following services.
Core Aeration (Early Spring or Fall)The deep-core aeration that we offer provides several benefits to the grass plant. Aeration relieves compaction and opens the soil surface, allowing water, nutrients and oxygen to be more readily absorbed by the root system. The addition of the cores to the soil surface aids in the break down of excess thatch. Also, when combined with over- seeding, aeration is an excellent way to thicken your lawn.
Power Raking (Early Spring or Fall)Power raking is one means of removing excess thatch that has built up in your lawn. Currently, power raking is only recommended when thatch has accumulated to the point of causing damage to your lawn.
